Innerawesome's curriculum draws from well-established frameworks, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Mindfulness Self-Compassion (MSC) by Christopher K. Germer and Kristin Neff, and mPEAK (Mindful Performance Enhancement, Awareness & Knowledge). Additionally, the program is informed by the principles of Compassionate Inquiry®, developed by Sat Dharam Kaur and Dr. Gabor Maté, as well as Hakomi (Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy), Somatic Experiencing by Dr. Peter Levine, and Polyvagal Theory by Dr. Stephen Porges. By combining insights from these powerful modalities, the program offers a holistic approach to personal development, helping you build greater awareness and enhance your overall well-being. While these frameworks are not taught directly in this program, they form the foundation of our approach to nurturing balance and creating the building blocks of a fulfilling life.
